TKD School of the Year

At the most recent United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame banquet, held Saturday, July 22 in Houston, TX, Fighting Dragon Tae Kwon Do was named Tae Kwon Do School of the Year. Master Bezoni, along with the rest of the Black Belt and Instructional staff, graciously accepted the award in front of an audience of over 230 people.

The following was read as they were accepting the award, submitted by Grand Master Johnny Thompson, 9th Degree Black Belt and President of the TKA:

Master Bezoni is the founder of Fighting Dragon Taekwondo, where he serves as Chief Instructor. A consummate leader, he pushes his students not to settle for less than their best, even as he models the example of Black Belt Excellence before them. Fighting Dragon focuses on Taekwondo, but elements of Tang Soo Do and Kuk Sool Won make their way into the curriculum as well. Fighting Dragon Taekwondo is committed to not only developing great martial artists but also Black Belt Leaders in Life.

Also as part of this year’s International Martial Arts Council of America training camp, Master Bezoni was promoted to 6th Degree Black Belt after two separate testing sessions in front of 15 Grand Masters!

Congratulations all around!
